A TOUR TO SHIMLA

Shimla is nice place to visit, during the summer season because it is my personal experience. We went
there during my summer vocation . We went there for one week because there is many
places to see. There we never realised  hot in any place, what a calm and beautiful place it is. Around
this place we saw green hill and fresh envionment. we arrived there by train, we came from long
distance so we had done all arrangement before we came here directly. There we stay in hotel,
where they have provided vechicles and their  best duty .




I went there first time. Shimla is the capital of the state Himachal Prades of India. Shimla is also
known for its cool environment and for its victorian architecture, which reflects certain mall
and ridge. There we saw unbiqutious footbridge around the main road, which is made with wood.
There we met mostly Pahadi people and some other as Sindhi and Punjabi but all of them can
speak Hindi or English so,we got chance to involve with them.


There are many theories about its name . According to mythology this name originated from
Shyamali Devi , a re - incarnation of fearsome Goddes Ma Kali. 
There we saw buildings of victorion style ,which reflects Britishers connection. In  the lower slopes
we found market and resturants  , which decorates beautifully and the traffic is banned there from
the historic central area as mall , where cart road runs to the mall.
The North ridge of the mall  from where we crossed is a good place of seven majestic hills of Shimala.  Near this we saw the famous baazar of Shimla  Lakkar bazaar from where we brought
some handicraft and souvenirs.


Place which attracts  us  in Shimla is The Mall, Jakhu Temple , Dorje Drag Monastery, The Ridge,
Christ Church, Lower Bazaar viceregal Lodge, Hip Hip Hurray Amusement park , Tara Devi,
Museum/ Gallaries (state of Museam , Photo Art Gallaries) and Sankat Mochan Temple.
All these places attracts visitors .

Chal of Shimla is the summer capital of Mharaja of Patials known as cricket pitch which is one of the

higest pitch in India

Sanjuli  -  Is the main suburb of Shimla .

At last we saw a  big statue of Lord Hanumanji a  Hindu deity which is about 108ft  and it is above the sea level

about 8,500ft . It also one of the highest statue in the world of sea - level, which is over taking the Christ 

Redeemer in Rio De Janerio of Brazil.

Kurfi of Shimla

This place is famous for its coffee and sports in winter season, where come huge number of tourist from
different - different place . This place is able to allure tourist to enjoy these game and participate in it.
There we also saw a small zoo , where we found different qualities of  animals. Kurfi is very famous for
sports and adventure loving person.

Meshbora of Shimla

It is the famous site of  annual Sipi fair in june. Where gathered large number of tourist and local people.We saw that place during the passage .

Anand Villas of Shimla

It is located between the root of Shimla and Junga "Sarva Dharma Mandir"  is there, which is the sign of deep
faith and love towards the spritual dedicated to Mother of Nature. This is the best example, how they love nature
so, there we find good environment for good health. Their is an  art  "Art Is Values" of school with students from all over India , there provided free classes of free cost. It is extra-ordianary talent of students. When we went
there I felt how the children do great laibour to depend themselves. It was so nice experience to me from'
where I  learn importance of art.

Junga of Tehsi (Shimla)

Junga is near to Tehsi, which is 26km far from Shimla . It name reflects to Royal retreat of Princely state of Junga
also known as Keonthral Estate . Which is one of the famous attraction Junga ,where tourist come
to see .

Kinnaur Kailash Parikrma Trek of Shimla

Here is given great chance to tourist to get experience of Buddhism Life style due to its attach to Tibet. Here we
 can learn more deeply about Buddha's style and There we can hear and learn something which we 
don't know. There we saw some people who wear red dress , I think they belong to Tibet.

Trek of Shimla

It is a local  mountain walk meandering roads to the meadows at Annadale. The Glen further west is very famous for picnic - spot , Where we found greeness which spread all over and there is available everything as we need.
What a beautiful place which is decorated by the natural beauty.  Head North fam for wildflower hall,
is made different and made only for wildflower.
In Tibet Road lies there Mashobra Village where mostly we saw Tibetian people and when we crossed 
Gravel road , it indicate entry to seog wildlife sanctuary . There we sawNadhera Golf coruse at tea
off.

Ice - Skating of Shimla

In Shimla there we heard about amusment activities as Ice - Skating during the winter season . From November
to March . Although through the Kurfi and Chali on the outskirts of town where offered better option. During
that time there are visited number of  visitors every year to enjoy and play in that snowfall. Just I imagine what
a beautiful seen happened there during these month. I want to go there during winter season. 

Visit Zoo At Kurfi in Shimla

Where we saw snow leapord and such as different species and we saw varities of Musk deer. So beautiful
Deer we saw there  for first time as that . There payed 15rs for entry.  There we foud strange animals ,deer ect.
There is good environment which can't felt us tired and feared because there implimented good protection 
to visitors from this animals.

Leisure Walk At The Mall

This mall is famous which is 7km throughfare , is the Victorian Architeture and retains much of its Raj- Era,and
there we got lift of cart . The centre area of this mall composed half - timbered building and is the place of this
mall to rub shoulder and clash knives and forks with Shimla elite. There we saw a huge statue of freedom fighter
Lala Lajpat Rai , which is located at scandal point, is the highest point on the mall. It was very pleasant place
' Clerk Hotel' is a exellent place for breaks over a coffe. Coffee is famous of Shimla. So we can get coffee everywhere in Shimla.

Sankat Mochan Temple of Shimla

It is a popular temple of Hanumanji 's temple is located in Shimla . We get an exellent view of Shimla is the 
famous temple here , there can we reach car or by foot. Acctualy we went there by on our foot, because climate
of there is very enchanting.   So, walking is better for health. There keep huge statue of Lord Hanumanji ,
there is a belives upon Hanumanji that he helped us rescue us from our all problems.

Photo Art Gallaries of Shimla

Potter Hills  or N- Hiuni = Is the gallaries of photograph of Himachal , it is about morethan 20,000 which is taken by the celeberate photo . It is wonderful place of explore  and learn  about
                                       
beauty and culture and flora and fauna of this Himalaya state . What a environment of this hills are can't forgetable.  In addition potter's hill is scenic area . Where we enjoyed hiking , climbing observing  wild life and enjoy the fresh Himalaya 's air.

Museam State of Shimla

Museam State =  Next day we went to chaura maidan ( N - Oberoi Cecil ) , which is reconstructed as Raj-Style
                            building is a state museum display a collection of 10,000 articrafts gathered from all over 
the Himachal Pardes . It is nice which  has there own qualities. This is the place where we saw different - different types of odd things.

Tara - Devi is a famous temple of Shimla.in India

Tara - Devi = Is the most  religious temple of Shimla . It so beautiful and attractive of Goddess of stars .
                     Which is located in the top of the hills . Tara - Devi temple stand some distance from the
bus stand of Shimla.  This is pefect place for people who want to find relief and peace .

Hip - Hip Hurray of Shimla

This place is very intersting and different from other place of Shimla. There we saw Nagsons Amusment Park.
Hip - Hip Hurray Kurfi , is the only a park which is located at 8500ft above the Sea - level.   Where offering 
advance activities like Burma Bridge crossing , flying fox, commando net , Rock climbing ect . There we saw
adverture and also the activites like Boating Bumpem cars, Rides , Indoor Golf . A number of virtual reality We saw there  as  redemption and vidio games and resturants, coffee shop, shpping Telescopic view etc. We enjoyed there everything from morning to evening , how the would pass there we couldn't imagine, that we
spent there lot of time in one place.

Vicergal Lodge of Shimla

Vicergal Lodge =  It is a big big lodge of Britisher time. so, it is very odd because this was built under the guidance of lord Dufferin in 1688. It is so beautiful , its entrance hall and garden are surrounded the mansion on
three sides. The most beautiful thing which attracts tourist is four place to relax and watch the Sun deep below 
the Himalaya and foothills. The teak- paned interior is impressive and well worth, it decorates beautiful , where
we get everything.

Lower Bazaar of Shimla

Lower Bazaar of Shimla = It is the Market for all becaues it less expensive . This is the mall shops open everyday, it is said home of the city's where we found cheap hotels, resturant, stores and congested wholesale
vegetable market ect.  Where we ate teasty food without tense of money . Although it is an excellent place of
dishes there we enjoyed famous food of there is Urad Dal with rice or shepard's pie.If you go there ,then you
must enjoyed this food.

Christ Church of Shimla

In Shimla there we saw many ridge but this ridge is one of those ridge near the church. It is near the Muncipal
libreary  open everyday even in sunday , 8 to 11am . Church is very large and attractive, when we enter through
the door , we felt just like heaven where . It was constructed in 1846 and it is the second oldes church of
Northen India .
In the church we knew that is the symbol of faith, patience , hope , fortitude and humanity. There we saw stain
glass of window and the fresco that surroundeds the chapel window was desinged by Lockwood Kipling.

The Ridge of Shimla

This ridge of Shimla we saw near the north hill of  the mall . But is is above the town at least 2230m .
This is the main ridge of Shimla  , which is focas of its culture and social life of  people. It is so beautiful place
which attracts us and we brought many things from there and we have also photo of us , when we wore this
traditional costume it was nice experience for us.
This place place is surrounded by moutaims. What a lovely seen of there.

Dorje Drak Monastery of Shimla

Dorje Drak Monastery  Sarasvati Garden estate Kusmuti , it is famous garden of Shimla  .  We went there
                                      and spent sometime there . A monaster in the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism
of there is also known as Thubten Evam Dorje Drag. There we saw mostly Tibetian people who live in abote.
This is calm and fresh place of religion.

Jakhu Temple of Shimla

Jakhu Temple   Jakhu hill of Simla open every day . Location of it  is above the town , according to epic -
                          Ramayana  said there rested God Hanumanji  during his jouney to Himalaya mountain .
There we saw number of monkeys , who are very aggresive so there should we very   careful towards our food,
glass, water, bags etc . They try to snetch everything from our hand.

Mall of Shimla

 There we saw large number of mall in main sloping center of Shimla . There we saw many good resturants , post offices, banks, bars and tourists offices . We enjoyed food of resturant and enjoyed late night

party with my friends. There we saw a movie in famous theater of Shimla , which is known as Gaiety Theater,

there we not face quque. This place of mall is also known Meeting place of people. What beautiful mall it is ,

all bazaar and shops are decorated very attractive.
