Rishikesh Tour Experience

Rishikesh  is  holy place ,  which is located in Uttrakhand in India . It is near to Haridwar so, visitors should go there if they Haridwar.   This is a small town , where find fresh air , green hills and calm , because of  small
population.  This place is also famous for adverture loving people , not only for Indian but foreingers who came
here every year. It is the starting point for travelling  sites of char Dham.

 Rishikesh  is surronded by two district namely Tehri Garhwal and Pauri Garwal. It is located in the foothills of the Himalays in northen India and attracts thousands of pligrims and it also a attractive place for directors to shoot.
so, there visits  numbers of tourist every year . There is also banned uses of plastics bags . This place is also known as the gateway to the Himalays and located around 25km another holy city Haridwar.

 According to legends  Rishikesha was pronouced as Hrisikesha , which is the name of God Vishnu. This place
gets its name after Lord Vishnu who appeared to ' Raibhya Rishi' as a result of his Meditation as Lord Hrishikesh . We saw there Skand Purana  is the area which is known as ' Kubjamark' ,where Lord  Vishnu
appeared under the mango tree.


Rishikesh has been a part  of the legendry   ' Kedarkhand' (Garhwal) .  In Rishikes we saw Ram - Joola and
Laxman joola(swing).  There is a story behind these  joolas . Lord Rama did penance here for killing Ravana and
his yonger brother Laxman crossed the Gangaes from this point, now this point is know as Laxman joola(bridge) .  This bridge is made with rope. I am afraid , but after some time I enojed without taking any
support. This joola is very strong so, there passed out  number of  tourist together . 




During our journey we saw many different temples inside it .  Below the joola ,there flow holy river Ganga .
This is the same river which come through the Haridwar. It is nice place for us .
Because there we saw Yoga center, where people come to find relief from their deases  and anxiouness. There we saw huge statue in the form of meditation.
There we saw not only Indians but froeinger who come there . 


Some year ago Rishikesh was known as ' the world capital of yoga' which has number of  yoga center, which became the main attraction of tourist. There is belived that meditation in Rishikes bring closer to attainment of
moksha as does deep in the holy river flow through it.




There we passed through the world famous place ,where tourist come from distance for  the  enjoyment of adventure and rafting. Which starts from the month March and end in July.
There we enjoyed lots of fun and freedom .
